Webster will be adding some new words to it's dictionary including "wedgie" and "blog".

The new edition will carry this listing: wedgie: noun. a prank in which the victim's undershorts are jerked upward so as to become wedged between the buttocks.

They add:

The new edition will reach bookstores by May and has 58 new entries, plus another 20 new senses of existing words (such as wedgie).

The additions include Al Qaeda, blog, cargo pants, irritable bowel syndrome and partial-birth abortion.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the words "irritable bowl syndrome", "wedgie", and "cargo pants" are all making it at the same time? Something tells me the guys at Webster's are at the end of their list. They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel this year. I just hope this edition doesn't become the butt of too many jokes.
