GOAT Rice
Is Jerry Rice the GOAT? Maybe. But what I'm wondering is now that he's retiring, how much would it cost (and hurt) the 49'ers to bring him in for one more home game? Suit him up, put him in. Let him go out as a '9er.
Or maybe that's too embarrassing for him? I dunno. I heard someone on the radio today say that Rice wouldn't be so great if he didn't have Montana and Young. Well, that's true. But you know what? Montana and Young wouldn't be as great as they were without Rice.
Goodbye, Jerry. I don't know if you're the GOAT or not, but you are one of the very best the NFL has ever seen.
