Hurricane Jeanne Summary & History

Hurricane Jeanne hit Florida on Sunday, September 26, 2004, just 10 days after Ivan. The storm came ashore near Vero Beach with 120 mph winds and as a category 3 hurricane.

We were out of town for this one and really didn't expect it to make landfall. It meandered in the Atlantic for a long time. But when it came ashore, it was about 5 miles from where Frances landed. Unbelievable! Come relive Hurricane Jeanne as I saw it (not being home).
